ADJUSTING YOUR AVATAR TO THE CAR SEAT
From Victor DeAngelo's Auto World at the Free Life Estates in the HG Lost Paradise

Should you find that your avatar is not seated square in the middle of the driver's seat and also at the correct height, here is a simple and fun way to get "mini-you" where you want him or her to be when cruising down the highway in your awesome new car....

LOCATING THE CORRECT SCRIPT LINE

1. Right click your car and choose "Edit"

2. Open the "Content" window

3. Locate the script "BurnOut V2.0

4. Click to open the script and locate line 12

   vector     gSitTarget_Pos = <0.20,0.55,1.5>;

    Note: the numbers you find in your car's script may vary from the example above but, as long as you are looking at line 12, you are definitely in the right place.

SEATING THE AVATAR

Forward Or Backward: In the example above, the first number "0.20" is the forward or backward position. Increasing this number (ex. 0.40) will move the avatar forward. Decreasing the number (ex. 0) moves the avatar further back in the seat.

Left Or Right: The second number will center your avatar in the seat from left to right. Increase the number (ex. 0.7) and the avatar will move toward the drivers side door. Decrease the number (ex. 0.2) and the avatar will move toward the center console.

Up Or Down: The third and last number will move your avatar up or down onto the driver's seat. Increase the number (ex. 1.8) and the avatar will sit higher. Decrease the number (ex. 0.8) and the avatar will sit lower in the seat.

TESTING YOUR NUMBER CHOICES UNTIL THE SEATING IS CORRECT

   Once you have entered a number that you think may be the correct choice, simply click to save the script and then be sure to also click "Reset Scripts" on the same "Content" window as well.

   Wait for the reset to take place and then click out of "Edit" mode.

   Right click the car and choose to "Drive" and then see how your avatar is located on the seat.

   If it is still not right, determine how much more you need to change the number and continue using this process until the avatar is seated correctly.

IMPORTANT REMINDER: You must always use "Reset Scripts" for any change made on a script for it to work.

Now, once your avatar is correctly seated in your new car, please be sure to obey all traffic signals and speed signs. As you know, the HG police are always looking to make Lindens by passing out those expensive traffic tickets. Awe, smile!

Have Fun!  Victor DeAngelo}
