commands understood by the wylie writer:

when spoken on the wylie writer's specific listening channel, these are valid:
    tibetan words in wylie transliteration:
        these will be displayed as best as the object is able, using the upper and lower
        vowel blocks and the consonant block as needed.
    "reset": wipes out any characters currently being displayed.
    "self-destruct": destroys the object. only the owner can do this.
    "xa": tshek character (word separator).
    "qa": shad character (sentence ending).
    "fa": double shad character (paragraph ending).

command is spoken on the open chat channel:
    "bcast X": if the owner speaks with the word bcast in front, then the writer will
        respond to that command as if it was spoken on its specific listening channel.
        this provides a way for the owner to address an entire wall of characters.

notecard configuration:

the wylie writer can understand notecards in the following form:

        #wylie
        channel=7
        owner_only=0
        show_channel=1
        title_color=<0.2, 0.8, 0.5>

the first line must match "#wylie" exactly for the writer to consider this a configuration notecard.
the other fields are used as follows:

    channel: the listening channel for the wylie writer to accept commands on.
    owner_only: will only listen to the owner if this is TRUE (1). if it's FALSE (0), then anyone can talk to the wylie writer.
    show_channel: if TRUE (1), then the writer will display its channel as title text. otherwise, no text is displayed.
    title_color: a vector of red/green/blue (RGB) values to use for the channel label's color. only used if show_channel=1.
