Thank you for using the absolutely amazing, handy-dandy, completely dolphin free Fashion Display! The Fashion Display can create a model that will show off any outfit to your visitors, and give them a folder containing all of the items comprising that outfit.

Owner Information
****************

The Fashion Display requires a specially crafted notecard containing information used to display your fashion model. You can name this notecard anything you like, but the name of this card will be used as the name of your fashion model and the name of the folder that will be given to a visitor. The Fashion Display will use the first notecard it finds. For example, if you name the notecard, "Beautiful Japanese Kimono", your NPC will also be named "Beautiful Japanese Kimono", and your visitors will be given a folder named "Beatiful Japanese Kimono".

The Fashion Display will look inside of it's contents, and use the first texture it finds for the sign. You don't have to edit any cards or scripts for this to happen.

You can put all of the outfit items inside of the Fashion Display. Again, no configuration is required. The Fashion Display will automatically detect clothing, any attachments such as hair or shoes, or any body parts like skin, eyes, hair or shapes, and give them to you visitor. It will not give items of any other type. If you wish to give out notecards or landmarks with your outfit, you will need to place them in a box.

Visitor Usage Information

Visitors who use your Fashion Display can take two actions.

First, they can press the demo button, which will create a slowly rotating fashion model wearing your outfit. This fashion model will exist for 60 seconds, and then it will disappear until the button is pressed again.

Second, they may click on the sign, which will give them a folder containing all the items that make up your outfit. When you create the sign, you may wish to indicate to your visitors that touching the sign will do this.

Special Considerations
*******************

The fashion display requires special configuration concerns for the simulator running the region it resides in. First, the NPC module must be enabled. Second, OpenSimulator scripting functions must be enabled. Finally, the simulator's OSFunctionThreatLevel option must be set to High (not recommended!) or the functions osNpcCreate, osNpcRemove, and osNpcSit must be explicitly enabled. If you're unsure what this means or you are not the operator of your land's simulator, you will need to check with the operator of your simulator to be sure that these conditions are satisfied. Feel free to give them a copy of this notecard to help them out.

The Fashion Display will NOT work in Second Life(tm) and is unlikely to ever do so.

If you unlink the Fashion Display, the demo button must remain the root prim when you relink. In addition, the names of the demo button, the sign, the model's posestand, and the base are all used by the script. Do not change these.

Plain english: You can do pretty much anything you want with the board. Modify it, give it away, move it to another grid... whatever. All I ask is that you retain an attribution to me as it's original creator. In addition, the scripts themselves are licensed under a simplified BSD license. A copy of this license should remain in the board as a notecard, and the copyright notices in the script need to be retained.

Oh, and if you break it, I won't just drop everything to come fix it. I will help when and if I can, though.
